Which school did you get through G&T process NEST or district G&T and which district and school?? BTW_ We LOVED Nest but made it our 4th choice since the commute would have been almost an hour each way for DC. DC has a fall birthday and we did not want our 4 yo on a bus for 2 hours a day. Ended up getting our 3rd choice, D3 G&T. [ Reply | More ]

often when you start a new routine your weight will go up - it's just a function of your body adjusting. there's some deal with your muscles taking on water after being used which makes you gain short term weight. anyway, keep it up and you'll see the positive results but still watch your intake carefully. if she typically works M-Th and the holiday falls on a Monday, it's not cool to ask her to work T-Th without additional compensation. your vacation plan sounds fine, but you need to pay for holidays that fall during her regular schedule. the exception to this kind of thing is when you take time off with notice and want to work with her ahead of time to rearrange her schedule so you can have coverage when you are back. [ - ] What is the going rate per hour for a nanny, SAHM, 2 dcs in nyc? I thought it was $15. Does WOHM change the rate? My nanny has been at $15 for a year (been with us 3 years)-does that mean I have to keep going up every year? 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
