Trying to figure out wording for DD's gym bday party. 1:30pm so I'm only serving cake. What's a nice way to state that on the invite so people don't show up hungry? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

join us for gym play and cake, or something like that - I don't think most people would assume more than that at 1:30 anyway [ Reply | More ]

I would not assume that, I think pizza is standard at any party I've been to with my dcs, regardless of time of the day. [ Reply | More ]

I've never been to one that served pizza without the invite saying something like "lunch will be served" - I'm guessing this varies quite a bit depending on your circle. [ Reply | More ]

^Ice cream will be served;" and "Pizza will be served." It makes me laugh b/c all the parents can tell you had the option for pizza but cheaped out. [ Reply | More ]
