for k through 4 th grade, I think allof the privates are on track with each other. High School, maybe not, but there are very, very few publics (even the UB Holy Grail of the "excellent suburban public" that send 100% of their grads to college and provide a rigourous college prep curriculum. i know how you feel. but here is the rub. i feel sucker punched. we're two years in and now i feel stuck like this a life i got sucked up in and isn't really who i feel we are. For the most part i don't like the crowd. it is so over privileged competitive and often laughable for their materialism. if you are talking about dreikurs" teaching children to be socially responsible and appropriate- with dignity and respect on the part of the parents. all books that are good that have come out lately are based on his work.
