That doesn't seem old. 10 years though, wow. I had this for 2 years pre menopause and did the ablation. It worked for the bleeding but the side effects were horrible (don't recommend it). Some doctors don't even perform them anymore b/c of the side issues. One, I had scar tissue form that cramped up horrible to the extent I was bedridden 2-3 days each month in agonizing pain. Given percoset. Second, if scar tissue forms blocking your cervix, there is no way later on to know if you have the early symptoms of ovarian cancer (spotting). My doctor no longer does this procedure. Just be wary if you choose this method. [ Reply | More ]

well it's quite a senior role who would have strategic oversight - so i get that they would want to see what kinds of strategic recommendations and ideas you would bring to the table - but i feel like if i were the hiring mgr I would get further down the line (further than 1 phone screen) in the hiring process and have synced on salary before I asked such a big workload. I get if they ask for a couple hours work before that but not days. [ Reply | More ]

If it's a senior role with strategic oversight, they need to know about your background, your ideas about priorities, your understanding of the industry and its future, and *how* you strategize. If they are asking you to solve a problem, they are using the interview process to get free consulting. Ask to meet them to learn more about the job on offer and the people you'll be working with. If they won't budge unless you do the work first, there's no job. [ Reply | More ]

yeah i tend to agree. i don't think people should hire people to essentially 'solve' their business unless they are paid consultants or the CEO. They listed a job but were really just using that to get the information and details from her experience. This! I would never work for a place that didn’t trust their hiring instincts enough. If someone is bright and takes direction you can teach them how to do anything if they already have soon an aptitude in the past. For me I’d tell them that I don’t have the time outside of my responsibilities to my current position but I’m happy to give them examples of my work (taking out any sensitive information). Luggage rack in the closet; def nightstand with light on it and outlet nearby so they can charge their phone. Skip the chair if you don't have room, but I got this nice club chair for our bedroom (they have a lot of "small footprint" chairs) in a dark faux leather and it's perfect to sit down on when you put on your shoes: https://www.wayfair.com/iNSTANT-HOME--Isabel-Barrel-Chair-C-L54-K~MLHO1178.html?refid=GX245046637133-MLHO1178_21836887&device=c&ptid=381027134606&network=g&targetid=aud-356699937073:pla-381027134606&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=42205223&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=21836887&campaignid=398251723&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_qm32dG85AIVhJ6fCh3ZCQU5EAQYBSABEgKCrfD_BwE [ Reply | More ]

If you can fit two twins, put a night stand between them and have each twin against a wall. If there is room, put a small bench at the foot of each bed. If no room for the benches, try to put a small chair in one corner. People care most about a good night's sleep more than decor or functionality waking hours. [ Reply | More ]

i think bigger bed and some slim nightstands. basicaly, everyone wants a place to plug in and put their phone and maybe reading glasses at night. a small corner cheir, not really for sitting, but to toss your jacket, lay out clothes or leave your pjs on .thats it. one bedside lamp is fine. id actually get a couple of small wall sconces so they dont take room on the side tables. the recommendation of having a double bed for a couple. That might have worked for you and your dh but most couples sleep in a king. Putting them in a guest room with a double is like putting them on camping style air mattresses. How about a bed like the Ikea Hemmes daybed? It's a twin size daybed, but it is expandable to a king. We keep two twin mattresses on it as a daybed and if anyone needs bigger to sleep on, we pull it out to the king configuration and put the twins side by side. [ Reply | More ]
