Does anyone use a bank safe deposit box? Have a lot of heirloom jewelry, car titles and passports at home. Home safes don’t appeal to me. Is putting this stuff in a bank vault just a recipe for future inconvenience? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

thought about it. Are the contents still covered under your insurance? Because they’re not insured deposits [ Reply | More ]

Big article in the NYT a few weeks ago about how safety deposit boxes get emptied and moved all the time and people lose their contents. Banks sell to another bank etc. [ Reply | More ]
