the kid is only 7 months old. let him have his feedings. You will get used to the wakings. I have three kids at home and none of them slept mostly through the night before they were around 1.5 years of age. By 2.5 they all slept like rocks at night. Sorry, but I am a working mom with a working DH. We just sat it out. The first months with #1 were really hard but then our bodies got used to it. By the time #2 and #3 came to this world we were able to live with minimum sleep. The human body is capable of a lot of things but most are not willing to go through the "training process". The amount of CIO (little or not) depends on the child, though. Some kids don't respond to CIO at all, some need more than a little. If your kid really only needs a little but of crying you don't really have a problem at your hands. [ Reply | More ]

you can still bf your kids at that age and not have them waking at night to feed. They eat plenty during the day unless youre starving them. thats just plain too old to wake at night to feed. But you do what you want and Ill do what I want. [ Reply | More ]

you don't get it, do you? You do not have to teach your child to self-soothe. They do this all by themselves as soon as they are mature enough. If you are in a hurry, of course, you don't have to wait that long and force them to so. I do not do that to my kids. That's me. Obviously, you think differently, so let your kids cry. [ Reply | More ]

actually, I do get it. You dont have to teach your kids lots of things that they will eventually learn on their own, but you do anyway. that is just silly. if you can help them learn this skill earlier, why woudlnt you. so, actually - my kid doesnt cry. And he sleeps, too and that is the point [ Reply | More ]

That would be the perfect addition - I'd saute the filets with a little olive oil and salt/pepper. Top with fresh avocado, tomato, cilantro and a dab of mayo mixed with cayenne pepper. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] I once wrote on UB (on the old site - sigh :( )that my dh didn't like bj's. Someone wrote back that dh is gay. I shared this revelation with dh this weekend and he laughed. He pointed out that if he was gay, he would most likely love bj's - hence the use of gay men's glory holes in the bathroom. 3 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

sigh. There are always some stupid women on here who want to say that preferences for certain sex acts define gayness. The only relevant question is, do you want to do those things with a man, or a woman? [ Reply | More ]

So it is a smooth thing? I had this idea that hemmorhoids grew on top of the skin (not out the hole) and that it would be rough, rather than smooth. [ Reply | More ]

yup, that's a hemrroid. If you run super hot water on it in the shower - spread your ass cheeks and do it...that will help deflate it. [ Reply | More ]

it won't stay that way forever -- but its annoying while it does. the hot water thing will hurt a little, but its worth it [ Reply | More ]
