I just started using the CA baby stuff (after switching to their super sensitive bath wash for the kids)...we got ours at Wegman's (well, my mom got it for me), but I've seen it at Whole Foods and some Targets. (Although I also just checked Drugstore.com, and they are totally out of stock.) Crazy sunscreen shortage! [ Reply | More ]

We moved within a block (87th street, UES) a few years ago...I can't remember the name of the moving company, but we used them three times (that time, then a 3-block move, then a move to NJ). Express something or other. For the move within a block, they actually just put some of the bigger items on a wheeled pallet and rolled it down the street. For the 3-block move, though, it didn't really make a difference, since everything had to go on the truck anyway. [ Reply | More ]

We got a huge jump in language by cutting out dairy and soy. Also, my ds had multiple ear infections the first 2 winters of his life (8 infections at 3-6 mos and 6 the following winter). Once we cut out dairy, never had another. Eczema on legs all gone in 2 weeks, no more diarrhea. I think you really need to cut soy too b/c many people who are sensitive to dairy are also sensitive to soy - they are very similar proteins. We didn't see such a big difference w/ gluten. if you call the ERB office they might be able to tell you if PSD got report yet (by email) and if yours was mailed yet - if it's any consolation. [ Reply | More ]

I can't do it. I'd rather see the report myself first, not hear it from someone else. Just the fact that you never know when it is going to pop up. With mail, at least you know when to expect it and if it isn't there you move on. [ Reply | More ]

or: I hear you. Last fall, PSD said report would be back in 3 weeks (early Sept test date). One day after the 4th week, I broke down and called the ERB office just to see if the report had been sent. I actually think I called under the guise of adding one school to my list which was true but then requested report status. The woman who answered at the office was super nice and told me my PSD had rec'd the report the night before and it had been mailed to me but she couldn't email or fax me the report. I was able to call PSD who opened the report while on the phone with me and read me the scores. But this was not an ideal way to go as DC's coding score was pretty low and PSD focused on that even though DC scored 99 overall. I was a bit panicked until she faxed whole report and I read it for myself. [ Reply | More ]
