anyone do gfcf diet for asd dc? thinking about making the leap. any advice? does it work to just cut gluten and not dairy? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

We got a huge jump in language by cutting out dairy and soy. Also, my ds had multiple ear infections the first 2 winters of his life (8 infections at 3-6 mos and 6 the following winter). Once we cut out dairy, never had another. Eczema on legs all gone in 2 weeks, no more diarrhea. I think you really need to cut soy too b/c many people who are sensitive to dairy are also sensitive to soy - they are very similar proteins. We didn't see such a big difference w/ gluten.
