yes we ended up with joint custody. We have a pretty bad relationship still. We exchange our children at a third party location and always have to have a friend present in order to prevent us from becoming nasty to each other. OP - the market is very local - even in Westchester - I cover lower Westchester - specifically Larchmont, Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Pelham and New Rochelle - there are def some good houses that come on the market but they go pretty quickly. Yes, some nice houses still do come up, but there's no denying that the average quality of the houses on the market in lower Westchester was higher at this time last year or in 2006. Yu don't need to test your child in Westchester just call up a preschool, some will invite your child over to see if there is a right fit but others would just enroll them. Co-op preschools are great since the parents are really involved. [ Reply | More
