The great thing is you probably have some things left from #1. Also you know what you need this time around so the shopping is much quicker and easier. Once the baby arrives it's easier too as you will already know what to do in most situations. GL it will be great. [ Reply | More ]

i'd say to hold off and see what happens. i did find that there were a lot more ambivalent feelings with a second pregnancy. less fear of the unknown but more worry about cheating your kids, etc. [ Reply | More ]

I was on ad's before I got pg, then quit cold turkey when I found out I was pg, went thru bad depression for a few weeks then after first trimester I felt great, better than ever. Now towards the end, I am feeling depressed, but going to wait until after the birth, but I did start taking ambien again because I don't sleep. [ Reply | More ]

Until 2 or 3 they are really just parallel playing but if you like the other mom and the kids are the same age, it's great for them to start learning to share etc [ Reply | More ]

I mean he can't handle any kind of stress so when our family is in a stressful situation I deal with everything while he moans. Anything that needs doing for the family, I take care of. It would never occur to him that he could do one of those things. If I ask him to do it he will mess it up (e.g. buy soap instead of toothpaste or just forget altogether). That kind of thing. No. My ds loved having a party but he didn't have a clue it was for him. Just get a few balloons, a party hat, a cup cake with a candle in it and sing happy birthday and your 2yo will probably be just as happy as if they had a party. [ Reply | More ]

I got balloons from a shop on 3rd btw 60th and 61st for my 2yo party. Don't remember the name but they sell toys and gifts etc. We bought a 'grown up' chocolate cake and stuck decorations on it to match our theme. [ Reply | More ]
