I mean he can't handle any kind of stress so when our family is in a stressful situation I deal with everything while he moans. Anything that needs doing for the family, I take care of. It would never occur to him that he could do one of those things. If I ask him to do it he will mess it up (e.g. buy soap instead of toothpaste or just forget altogether). That kind of thing.
