Anyone else feel depressed during pregnancy #2? Didn't feel this way with #1. Am thinking of starting an antidepressant. I just don't function the way I used to. I'm 31 wks now. Scared about what it will be like when db#2 is born. Any advice? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

i'd say to hold off and see what happens. i did find that there were a lot more ambivalent feelings with a second pregnancy. less fear of the unknown but more worry about cheating your kids, etc. [ Reply | More

I was on ad's before I got pg, then quit cold turkey when I found out I was pg, went thru bad depression for a few weeks then after first trimester I felt great, better than ever. Now towards the end, I am feeling depressed, but going to wait until after the birth, but I did start taking ambien again because I don't sleep. [ Reply | More

I hate taking the ambien but after weeks of no sleep and running a redlight without even realizing it until another car almost t-boned me, I said this has got to stop or I am going to cause a disaster. That redlight incident was terrifying. [ Reply | More
