Could be texture (those require more chewing) but I wouldn't worry about it as any kind of sensory problem. My ds didn't like protein at that age either. He's still not a huge meat eater. You could try bits of lunch meat, egg salad or tofu cubes. I always recommend the Kashi Mighty Bites cereal b/c it has a fair amount of protein in it and it basically tastes like honey-nut cheerios (but less sweet). [ Reply | More

here's how i make it. peel and cut into large chunks. (about three or four pieces per apple). put in a cinamon stick, cover, and bake at 350. use a heavy container if you have one.
