You don't have to. I gained 45lbs with #1 and 32 with #2. I ate a lot more fruit and a lot less muffins and french fries with the second one, and it made all the difference. My parents were injured in a car accident and my father had emergency neurosurgery. Now, almost 2 years later, he is okay -- but he'll never be the "same". The circumstances are different (his injury wasn't classified as "traumatic brain injury"), but as he recovered, there were several episodes like this (he was disoriented, agressive, nasty, lost language function). I don't have advice, just sympathy -- I can imagine (to a degree) what it must be like for you. In your case, I'd limit the time that I spent with her (duration and frequency) and remind myself over and over that it's not her, it's the injury. Hang in there. [ Reply | More
