[ - ] Moms...should I make anything out of this? DD is 16 months. Twice in the last 4 days she has climbed onto something that has a sunken seat ( a box, and a ride on toy w/ a lift up seat)and made a #2 while sitting there. Seems like a segway towards potty training, but at 16 months, seems a bit young. 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

very very young but go ahead and start talking about what happens when she goes in the potty. We started talking about it around 18 months I think but she wasn't PTd til 2.5 or so [ Reply | More ]

just started talking about how when she got older she would pee and poop in the potty and not wear diapers. When she was willing, we would sit her on the potty and just let her sit there. If she did pee, we made a big deal of it. I don't believe in forcing this. She will do it in her own time, but we did talk about it a lot for a long time! [ Reply | More ]
