my dd is 8yr old. She doesn't have these exact moments but when she does loose it, I will take away her playdate. I let her yell, cry and stomp, ect and when she's calm I sit with her and talk about why she lost her playdate. My friends 7yr old sounds a lot like your dd but my friend gives in. Stone Fly sandals...made in Italy. Many are too "comfy" to be good looking, but there are a few pairs that are very nice and it is rare to find cute sandals like they have with good arch support. Any of the thong styles are worth considering..dream 22, eden, etc. Those are much better looking in person than on Zappos...maybe get a brown and a black pair. Also, look at Helle. I lived in their clogs this winter. Nike Gs are comfy, but not so good for tons and tons of walking...less support [ Reply | More
