oh dear. December, January, February, March, April, May. That's 6 months. today is the 28th, so it's 6 months and 1 week. most months do not have an exact 4 weeks. [ Reply | More ]

right, so if most months don't have the same number of days then by counting those extra days he is older than 6 mos, 1 week. Why can I not understand this? [ Reply | More ]

When we first met, we lived in a studio in an 'edge' bklyn neighborhood for three years and saved liked maniacs. We brought our lunches and only drank lite beer when out etc. Our friends thought we were insane b/c they were all going out and having a lot of fun. And, at the time, I was jealous of them but was sorta obsessed about buying since I knew prices were only going up and I know we'll never make a ton since we are both social workers. [ Reply | More ]

Willingness to read and read and read aloud to them. Setting an example by alwasy having a book to read and talking about books. Reading the same books as them at the same time (or pre-reading to find just the right books) and discussing tghem with relish. Limiting TV time. Allowing them to stay up reading in bed, and lawyas putting books in bed with them...even as little babies. And good luck. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Please please help. I have a job interview tomorrow (and I really, really need this job). I don't have that many suits (work in higher ed, we don't wear suits on a daily basis), but I picked out my favorite, brought it to the dry cleaners, picked it up. I inspected it just now and the jacket now has two small stains that were NOT there before. they are slight, about a nickel to a quarter in size.. they kind of look like the jacket got wet in those spots.. its just a little bit darker. one is right next to the bottom of the jacket and less noticeable, the other is on my chest. i'm trying not to freak out because they are not THAT noticeable, and my hair covers the one in front as long as my hair is over my shoulders and not down my back. do you think this is a huge problem? or if they DO notice, they will think i just spilled something before the interview? i honestly don't know what to do- i guess i could go buy a new suit right now? my others are so wrinkled and the dry cleaners won't take them bc i need them by 7:30 tomorrow morning. one other option is that i could wear a white oxford shirt under a banana republic black shift dress, with no jacket. the only problem here is that i really think you need to wear a suit at all interviews. THOUGHTS??! 14 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
