LOL. I went away for 5 days and DH moved back in with his parents while I was gone. To be fair, I SAH and DD is only in school half-days. DH couldn't take off the entire time I was gone, so he needed child-care help. It also meant that DD actually had real meals instead of Rice Krispies for dinner every night. [ Reply | More

At that age I would not worry at all. DD is 6.5 and I know she and DH would be fine together. Leaving him with the two of them for that long would be tougher, but then again that applies the other way around too. [ Reply | More

Don't worry about people. When you do announce it, they 'll probably act like know it alls but it's is unlikely they'll ask. I remember it was the same with #1 too.
