Your job as parent is not to be a birthday party entertainer. Make time to talk to your kids every day, and cultivate an environment of openness and approachability, and then be sensitive and open to them when they want to initiate conversation. You can initiate it too. But if you do it just because you feel you "should", they will sense this and not want to interact. [ Reply | More ]

My kids are 15 months apart and I found it helpful to establish, small, do-able routines for my day. I used "Flylady.net" site for help. But don't start trying to do too much all at once. All I did for about a month and a half was make myself keep my kitchen clean, cleaned it up everynight before bed. Then I added making my bed each morning, throwing in a load of wash after getting breakfast on. Start small. Do away with the idea that your whole house is going to be in perfect condition at all times.Set your timer and only do 10,15-20 minute "pick-ups" in different rooms. Good luck. Cut yourself some slack. [ Reply | More ]

Yeah, She's one of the RE at The Center for Women’s Reproductive Care (the CWRC). The CWRC is a group practice, so you will have a "team" of docs that you will be working with (with one doc assigned as the primary dr you will check in with on a regular basis) She was not my primary dr. there, but interactions with Dr. Choi were good. She's very professional and very positive if a bit formal. You can find her bio here: GL! [ Reply | More ]

Also, just so you know I really liked two doctors at the practice. One was Dr. Jeffrey Wang -- he's young but so patient and clearly knowledgeable. The other (my primary there) is Dr. Zimmermann. Some people feel he's somewhat socially awkward, BUT he's immensely knowledgeable, and also extremely caring. Their bios are also at the link I gave above. I'm now 7 mos. preggers, so hey, it all worked out. Best to you. [ Reply | More ]
