What do you consider a 'late' bedtime for your dc's? And what if they sleep late but wake up late as well...does it still bother you that they sleep late? They are getting their full sleep anyway. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I really don't care when other kids go to bed. I like mine down by 7:30 because 2 hours of "alone" time at night completely saves my sanity. [ Reply | More ]

They may be getting it in terms of the number of hours but I feel the quality is different because of circadian (sp?) rhythm and all that. I consider 8pm late for us but for real, 8:30 or 9:00 is crossing into crazy ville. [ Reply | More ]

For my 4 y/o, after 8pm is "late", mostly because she's going to be up at 7am regardless of what time she went to sleep, she almost never sleeps past 7:30. If she gets less than 11 hrs of sleep, she's cranky and miserable all afternoon. [ Reply | More ]
