I called Dh at 7:30 tonight asking why he was not home for the one night this week he promised to be home to see the kids. He gave a lame excuse and I hung up on him. He came charging in the house a few minutes later and was enraged (veins popping, etc.) screaming and cursing to me about how I am never to hang up on him again; he will not tolerate that, etc. -- lots of F bombs. This all happened in front of my oldest dd (7). I brought her into the bathroom with me (only door that locks). She was sobbing and terrified. I don't know how to procede. [ Reply | More

[ - ] my ds read at a higher grade level too in kindergarten and we had a great time basking in the glow but once he got to 2nd grade, he hated to read and we had to make him read his books that the teacher said he needed to read.
