When I talk to DH about it, well he can't seem to do anything to improve the situation. His mother gets away with basically anything she wants to do it is granted. I just want a happy summer with my DH and our children. Now, I am freaked out that Dh is cheating on me. I once cheated on him when we were almost engaged, and he doesn't know. 16 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

[ - ] Met a horrible broker today, put in an offer, around 2% under what she said he had accepted from someone else, (that fell through) and she laughed at us, and said 'good luck'. I think its because we have a broker, and so she will only get half the commission, and she is holding out for a buyer without a broker so she gets it all. I dont even think she is going to pass our offer on to the owner. btw, its been on the market for around 6 months, and our price was very fair. She was just so rude, and mocking of us. The place has a bad feel for me now, even if we did get it, she has ruined it a little. silly huh? 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

He was saying "Frag" to himself a couple of times. I think because he is really quick to come and feels bad about it [ Reply | More ]

something is definitely going on. it's now up to you--ignore it and pretend all is ok or figure out the extent of his dishonesty. if he was talking to someone at work about not calling his "line" he wouldn't say "you can't". [ Reply | More ]

I would definitely ask him about it, but you might also be being over-sensitive. My dh often takes work calls in a different room, particularly if ds is around and probably making noise. And maybe the person from the hospital overstepped their bounds by calling him when he wasn't on call or about something that should wait until tomorrow. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] So my Motherinlaw always makes comments that my 2 1/2 yr old needs to eat (like at 11:59am) and comments that my gaughter is too skinny and buys her donuts/cookies/croissants..and seems food obsessed in general. My MIL is overweight as are her 3 sons(my husbadn included).. what do I do/say? Its a very touchy subject but she is OBSESSED. As soon as she gets to my house, whenevr she visits, she ALWAYS says, " I havent eaten yet, I need to get lunch." Its weird. 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Yes, but isnt she going to give my little girl a complex? Or is bi-weekly damage not enough to worry about. [ Reply | More ]

Bi-weekly is a lot. If she can hear it, let her know that your ped thinks she is a healthy weight but cautions against too many commercial baked goods. Show MIL that DD can have any of X healthy foods you have in your house (carrots, cheese, whole-grain crackers, etc.), but that any more than one treat (couple cookies, donut, etc.) is too much. I have a 2.5yo and I make her meals and she chooses what and how much to eat off the plate. Relatives are always trying to do a song and dance to make her eat but I stop them. I say that she knows when she's hungry and if it's not at this meal, she'll make up for it at the next. I don't mind junk food in moderation but if it gets to be too much I accept their treats on her behalf and save them for another time or dump them after they leave the house. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Im planning a kids birthday party, will be from 3-5pm, in a gym with a party room afterwards. Im going to order pizza for the kids, but want to feed the adults something too. What would you like to see foodwise? Is a cheese platter and a fruit platter enough? Any other ides would be great. Should I order extra pizza for the adults? Also, how many adults to cater for? 15 kids, is it usual for just one parent to accompany? New to this... 9 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]
