DH got a call about his hospital duty tomorrow. While talking, he disappeared into our bedroom and I followed him in somewhat. I heard him say " You can't call me on on this line" do you think that is weird?? I immediatly questioned him about it [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

So what did he say? And why did you follow him? [ Reply | More ]

Maybe he prefers the hospital use the beeper they probably issued to him rather than his land line. [ Reply | More ]

um, yes -- he was talking to his girlfriend -- unless, of course, he doesn't let the hospital call his home line. i'm sorry. [ Reply | More ]

Well he had been paging someone to see how many patients or something. I checked caller I.D. and the call came from the general hospital line, hard to tell who it was. I followed him because I saw him duck into our room [ Reply | More ]

That's what is most worrisome. My instinct if my dh "ducked into our room" was that I should give him some privacy. It seems like you already have a reason to be suspicious? [ Reply | More ]

He was saying "Frag" to himself a couple of times. I think because he is really quick to come and feels bad about it [ Reply | More ]

He has a pager for the hospital use only. He has a cell phone and we both rarely use the home phone line [ Reply | More ]

something is definitely going on. it's now up to you--ignore it and pretend all is ok or figure out the extent of his dishonesty. if he was talking to someone at work about not calling his "line" he wouldn't say "you can't". [ Reply | More ]

I would definitely ask him about it, but you might also be being over-sensitive. My dh often takes work calls in a different room, particularly if ds is around and probably making noise. And maybe the person from the hospital overstepped their bounds by calling him when he wasn't on call or about something that should wait until tomorrow. [ Reply | More ]
