at 6 months? You don't really put baby's head into the water at that age. That said, there is always the risk for an ear infection but I think it is rather unlikely. [ Reply | More ]

cheapest deals are the disney ones where you stay at a place very close to the park and everything is included, shuttle to park, meals, hotel, tickets. it may seem pricey but we've done it both ways and it's not only easier, it's a ton cheaper too. [ Reply | More ]

how old are your kids? that makes all the difference. mine are little and we like to stay on property so we can go back to the hotel during the day for a little r&r by the pool. also, if you stay at a disney property, you can take advantage of extra magic hours. make reservations for all meals now. crystal palace in the magic kingdom is pretty decent. so is chef mickey's and 1900 park fare. Seriously, it's one of the hardest parts of it all. Having no down time in general is difficult, but having no down time, no non-mom time when you are ill is really awful. There is no emotional/physical "room" to recuperate. [ Reply | More ]
