Any Disney advice for a first timer? Where to stay, tips for seeing everything, things we can avoid. Thanks. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

the lines to "meet the characters" are about 45 minutes minimum. Mickey takes FOREVER. bring snacks. it's fun, just expect a lot of long long lines to meet characters [ Reply | More ]

I suggest a character meal at a restaurant to cover the major players. [ Reply | More ]

cheapest deals are the disney ones where you stay at a place very close to the park and everything is included, shuttle to park, meals, hotel, tickets. it may seem pricey but we've done it both ways and it's not only easier, it's a ton cheaper too. [ Reply | More ]

how old are your kids? that makes all the difference. mine are little and we like to stay on property so we can go back to the hotel during the day for a little r&r by the pool. also, if you stay at a disney property, you can take advantage of extra magic hours. make reservations for all meals now. crystal palace in the magic kingdom is pretty decent. so is chef mickey's and 1900 park fare.
