here we go again. trinity does not select on scores. a far more interesting mix of criteria. dalton is big on scores so 99s have a better chance. that being said, if you, as a family, offer something they want, the score is good enough. [ Reply | More ]

I'm in the same boat. I'm also bottom-heavy, and empire waist just makes me look like a huge letter A or a pyramid. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Mom I see a lot at the playground has a baby that is very small IMO. Looks like a 6-7 month old but is probably closer to a year. What could cause that? She doesn't seem to think anything is wrong? 10 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

lol. what's your problem? my twins were always on the small side. They're 6 1/2 yo and weigh 40 lbs and are about 48 inches tall. They're smaller than our 4yo neighbor [ Reply | More ]

np- Is that considered small? My ds is also 6 1/2 and he weighs maybe 43. Id say he's average. [ Reply | More ]

Average in a normal sense but small compared to a lot of the monster sized kids out there. There's one kid in their class who is two heads taller and about 20lbs heavier than everyone else [ Reply | More ]

Why do all the babies have to be the same? Mine were always on the top/off charts so everyone thinks they are older. Someone else needs to be at the other end of the spectrum. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Baking advice needed! I'm making chocolate chip cookies but the dough seems funny, most likely because the butter was practically liquid from being left out all day. Batch #1 came out really flat. If I refrigerate the rest of the dough, will that solve my problem? And if I do chill it, do I have to adjust cooking time or temperature when I cook? Thanks for your help! 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Refrigeration will help a teeny bit, but basically you blew the dough when you used the warm butter. Sorry. [ Reply | More ]

Really?! Do you think I should scrap the whole thing and start over? Why does it matter if the butter is very soft? [ Reply | More ]

The dough will not be the right texture. It will still taste good, but you get flat cookies. [ Reply | More ]

They're for a party and (weird as this sounds) need to look kind of nice. Plus, am baking them for someone who loves my cookies they way they always are...which is not flat and wet-looking. [ Reply | More ]

or: I tried replying under your other post but got kicked off. Your DH isn't wrong. You can try later on. Nothing wrong with letting her have milk in the bottle. I wasn't a stickler with that. My dd was on her 2 wks strike at 24 mo old. She always had water in a cup but didn't want to let the milk go from the bottle. Totally up to you and to your dd [ Reply | More ]
