I put the best ones in "nice" albums (leather or suede or fabric), the decent ones (most) in a big album from exposures online (fits 800 or maybe it's 400 pix in an album) and then the not so good ones I just throw in a box. [ Reply | More ]

Borax is the only thing that is 100% effective. It takes a few weeks, but it works. Use one of those pastry guns to gently blow a fine layer of the stuff into all crevices and along all baseboards. And it's kid and pet friendly (as long as your kids and pets aren't in the habit of licking every square inch of baseboard). [ Reply | More ]

Combat, not the quick killing ones, the source kill. Sometimes it makes it worse for the first week but then it works. Put them everywhere you can out of reach of kids/pets but if you have neighbors doing a renovation you can't get rid of them until that stops. [ Reply | More ]

We are moving to westchester. Can't wait. DH doesn't interact with the kids in the morning at all even here in NYC (except he says 'goodbye' as he is heading out the door and they are usually playing or watching TV and just ignore him).
