[ - ] anyone have any funny stories of the day they went into labor/birthing stories? i've been sitting at home for three hours now just waiting until my contractions are worthy of going to the hospital - just ironed dh's shirts, reorganized the spice cabinet, watching a movie with dh right now while ubing and i also (tmi) have the worst gas and i just keep laughing about it, don't know why. i have been acting more and more strange as the labor goes on! 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I was induced. After 50 hours of labor, I had a c-section. DH was so exhausted at that point, he could barely sit up straight. The nurses wouldn't let him hold db because they thought he would drop it. [ Reply | More ]

first three pregnancies were beyond normal - third pregnancy, which was the first and only dd, was just drama! i went into false labor the night before and got sent home, then coming back my dh slipped and cut open his knee so we had to go back so he could get stitches - we get home, dh made some eggs and cereal then we both showered and went to bed and two hours later i was in labor. we sat around at home for a bit so my dh could bathe the boys and drop them off to his parents' house (who had just left our place when we got back) then he came back and i was asleep, soon after the labor intensified quickly and we got to the hospital just in time - dd was almost 10lbs. so let me tell you this labor hurt like HELL, then she finally graced us with her presence, started screaming like i have never heard a child scream before, they calmed her down, then everytime i tried to hold her she screamed - let me tell you, i should have taken this all as a warning sign to having a dd! after i had dd, my dh snuck in burger king for me and there was this one nurse who was gorgeous, but she was extremely strict and well, she was just a bitch! she caught my dh (luckily after i ate my food) and took it away from him and she reprimanded him and gave him a hard time for the rest of my stay in the hospital [ Reply | More ]

Dalton may add around 6-8 kids at 6th grade and around 20 kids for high school. The numbers are similar or smaller for most of the single sex schools. I think that's key - that DH recognizes early signs of my relapse, and that I trust his judgment and get the immediate help rather than waiting for things to spin out of control. It would be a lot harder without his support, or if I fought him on treatment. [ Reply | More ]

Make sure you carve out time alone with friends. Don't let him suck the joy out of life. Getting out and socializing helps. [ Reply | More ]

i believe in it. i had 2 m/cs and was told i had high FSH -- tried acup. and got PG naturally after a few months. and if it doesn't work for fertility, at least it helps with stress. [ Reply | More ]

np: ITA. No idea if it was the clomid or the acupuncture that got me pg. But I know I couldn't have made it through the process without the balancing aspects of the acupuncture. [ Reply | More ]

Hunter exhausted the original 12 boys on the w/l so they had to create a second w/l already. 4 girls declined Hunter. [ Reply | More ]
