You have a lot on your plate. What other supports do you have? Friends? Family? Hired help? Use them. You and dh can't be everything to each other because you're both maxed out. Hang in there! [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] For non-SAHM, how often are you alone with 2 or more dcs (especially young ones)? DH is working nights all week, and all-day Saturday, and I'm exhausted from a huge work project and breastfeeding and the night wakings and tantrums of a 2-year-old. It seems a lot to do four bedtimes alone in a row and a whole weekend day (2yo doesn't nap) but maybe I'm just being weak. 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

I only have one dc but I feel for you--when he was first born my dh stayed home with us for one week and then went back to work 9am-10pm every day, I was at the end of my rope. I am back at work now and I know how hard it can be. Can you get a relative or friend to come spend the day, take the 2 year old to the park? Hang in there you are doing a great job! [ Reply | More ]

Never call yourself weak for taking care of 2 (or 3?) little ones, holding down a full-time job, and not living in an extended family, which I will assume you're not. We are incredibly overburdened in this society. Sounds like you have an overwhelming job, I feel for you. [ Reply | More ]

i think you would keep charting both the m/c and the resulting bleeding as a continuation of the original cycle, then start a new cycle on the first day of your next period. i'm sorry for your loss. [ Reply | More ]

I'm sorry for your loss. I charted for both kids. While I never had a m/c, I think to be accurate, you should wait until first period after you've stopped bleeding from m/c. Your temperatures will not be accurate until your hormone levels adjust themselves again. [ Reply | More ]

Is it better to do it while she is at camp or is that too sneaky? I know she will notice eventually that some things are missing. Should I be doing this with her and talking to her about it? 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

That depends on your dd. I've done both - went through the toy box with my dcs - less toys were thrown out. And threw stuff out when they weren't home or were asleep - they did notice that things were missing or would say what happened to my so and so - eventually they moved on to something else. We're moving and I just went through this process with 4yo. I did it when he was in the room and gave him a head's up on everything I was giving away. He was cool with 90% of it and I was fine keeping the other 10% that I would have given away. If that process didn't work, I was planning to box up all the things I thought he wouldn't miss and keep them for 2-3 weeks to make sure there wasn't anything he missed. [ Reply | More ]
