For non-SAHM, how often are you alone with 2 or more dcs (especially young ones)? DH is working nights all week, and all-day Saturday, and I'm exhausted from a huge work project and breastfeeding and the night wakings and tantrums of a 2-year-old. It seems a lot to do four bedtimes alone in a row and a whole weekend day (2yo doesn't nap) but maybe I'm just being weak. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I only have one dc but I feel for you--when he was first born my dh stayed home with us for one week and then went back to work 9am-10pm every day, I was at the end of my rope. I am back at work now and I know how hard it can be. Can you get a relative or friend to come spend the day, take the 2 year old to the park? Hang in there you are doing a great job! [ Reply | More ]

I'm a WAHM, but my DH works a weird shift that he doesn't see 1 year old DD for days at a time and I'm on my own before and after work hours. I feel your pain. [ Reply | More ]

Never call yourself weak for taking care of 2 (or 3?) little ones, holding down a full-time job, and not living in an extended family, which I will assume you're not. We are incredibly overburdened in this society. Sounds like you have an overwhelming job, I feel for you. [ Reply | More ]
