have you had clogged milk ducts yet? They're usually not centered in the nipple area. Why don't you check out the symptoms of mastitis (sp?) as well- so you know what to tell dr. If you have fever, chills, smell...go to dr immediatly and do not breastfeed. [ Reply | More

My first thought is that you are cooking the stew at too high a heat. (Other issues: you are using crappy cuts, you are not cutting it properly, not cooking long enough, etc?) Try Alton Brown. He teaches as well as instructs. [ Reply | More
