I'm planning to use a bugaboo as a bassinet in the beginning and space isn't a factor I just think it's silly to go get another huge contraption when that would work fine [ Reply | More ]

That was also my thought, although not sure where I read this, but someone commented that the Bugaboo bassinet is not designed for the baby to sleep in it for such long periods of time and there for has risk of SIDS. Again, not sure if that's true, but that's why I posted my first question and see if there were any suggestions... [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] how do i make my evenings less stressful? both dh and i woh and our dc are in daycare/preschool full time. we all get home at the same time then eat dinner and bath/bed routine for the 2 kids. after they are in bed, i have to think of preparing dinner for next day, etc... but by then its about 9pm and all i want to do is crash instead of cooking. i do try to make simple dishes but that still takes at least an hour of prep/cook/cool off/put in fridge. is there anything i can do about this? 6 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Omaha steaks, Schwans, Trader Joes, etc. I use a variety of the dishes from these places. I am not lazy, just don't feel then need to slave over dishes. I do like to cook bigger fun meals on the weekends or Friday noght which i sometimes freeze for leftovers during the week. [ Reply | More ]

i am similar. what we do: 1. accept that delivery is part of your life; 2 i almost never cook only one meal. double up and put leftovers in the freezer.3. use your weekend. 45 minutes inteh kitchen can get a ton of the prep done for the whole week. 4. make simpler meals. 5. if it works for you, get your kids involved in teh cooking. then its family time, not just kitchen drudgery.
