my 4.9 yo dd does not listen and is spaced out about any and every simple instruction that i give her. on the other hand my 3 yo dd is not. for example, i gave both of them drinks and asked when they are done to put the cups in the sink. #1 just left it where ever she was sitting and #2 went and put it in the sink w/out being reminded at all. this is constant with everything. she is however a very bright girl and speaks very well. #1 is constantly telling #2 what to do and how to do it. she is non-stop talking to a point where i have to tell her to sit down quietly for 5 min. i am so lost on how to handle her behavior. is this normal? what is the best way for me to handle this. i feel very frustrated and not sure what to do.
