We did so many veggies and fruits--we had to avoid wheat eggs and dairy until 1yo for poss. family allergies. mango, blueberries, raspberries, steamed pears and apples, steamed broccoli, zucchini, squash and asparagus, sweet potatoes. Just break it all up into "baby sized" bits or whatever size you are comfortable with. I also feed dd bits of chicken apple sausage (no skin) and she loves it. I don't think it has any of those three in it. Good luck, very frustrating, but there really is still a lot out there, just think whole food, not boxed/processed. [ Reply | More ]

We were in the South of France last year and traveled extensively. I would spend some time in Arles for sure. I might avoid Nice and Cannes, they are a bit like tourist traps...over priced etc., Go a little further west and you will have a better time lots of great festivals etc., I can give you more town names if you like. Also consider Spain. We went to beaches in both Spain and France and they were all great. [ Reply | More ]

Yes! That was the sweetest time for us. A couple of suggestions...make sure the baby is in the bassinet, off to the side when he comes in, don't hold the baby. Get a couple of gifts. WE got ours pjs (she is a pj nut) and she would go home put them on and remember that I had given them to her. It was a tangible way to connect the two worlds. If that won't work, maybe new bedtime books your dh can read to them. He will love it. Also, we obviously had the tv on kid shows, mine took naps with me in the hospital bed..best time ever!
