[ - ] i had a positive preg test this AM. when i called OB, he told me to come in for HCG and progesterone tests, and then said, "Okay, we'll see." We'll see what? Are there a lot of false positives on HPT, or is he just saying that b/c of high miscarriage rates. I am 18 dpo, fwiw. 11 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

In reality, you hold the baby on your lap, fasten the seat belt over both of you and hold the baby firmly. Also tell the driver to drive slow. Only tourist have sit and strolls or other contrampsions. It's just not practical for every day city living. [ Reply | More ]

I just hold her on my lap and I don't take cabs that often (maybe 3 trips/month). It's not ideal, but there you are. I take some comfort in the fact that in Manhattan the cabs don't often get above 35 mph, I think. [ Reply | More ]

strong willed dc there. just get rid of bottles completly and keep trying. straw cups worked great with my dc. plus my 2nd dc wanted to drink out of same cup as my older dc. so my 2nd dc (18 mos) drinks out of regular cups now with straw cups when we are out and about. we just use dixie cups, and shockingly, not a mess at meals.
