my ds ate all solids with no teeth. he hated jars of food. i did canned green beans (very soft texture), small pieces of rotisserie chicken, steamed zucchini and squash. cauliflower also steams soft. try small pieces of fish as well. [ Reply | More ]

even with teeth, babies at that age aren't actually "chewing"-- most babies have only their front teeth. So, yah, you can totally do real foods, just chopped up teeny tiny like you would for any 9mo [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] I have one of those friends who is always disciplining everyone else's kids at the playground but never says anything to her own. She clearly has a huge blind spot towards the behavior of her own kid. I usually grit my teeth and don't say anything (or follow the kids around so I can intervene) but my kid is really getting weirded out by this woman ALWAYS hollering at him. I love her dearly and would like to say something but have a feeling she will freak. Any advice? 4 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

^^same with clothing. if your clothes are expensive we get that they're luxury items. why market anything that's going to end up with puke on it as luxry [ Reply | More ]

you know the answer to that - marketing is for adults not kids so there are clearly adults who want luxury for everything [ Reply | More ]

it's funny, too, because luxury is a term that we find is marketed at people who tend to not actually be rich.. i.e. 'luxury cruise lines' are for the middle class. the wealthy don't need to know something is luxurious to buy it. they know it's luxurious BECAUSE they bought it! lol [ Reply | More ]
