my ds ate all solids with no teeth. he hated jars of food. i did canned green beans (very soft texture), small pieces of rotisserie chicken, steamed zucchini and squash. cauliflower also steams soft. try small pieces of fish as well. [ Reply | More

even with teeth, babies at that age aren't actually "chewing"-- most babies have only their front teeth. So, yah, you can totally do real foods, just chopped up teeny tiny like you would for any 9mo [ Reply | More
