No. While I did have my DD take to tests - other parents that I know with kids going to K in the fall did not. Some thought their kids were too young to take the test others just don't like the idea of "high stakes" test this early. [ Reply | More

my older dd yes because she was applying to privates but the private she's in doesn't require testing...so when my younger dd applies this Sept. for K, we won't have her take any testing at all since that's the only school we are applying too [ Reply | More

OP - I appreciate this. I don't want my dd to even think of being a model. But she's 15, and I think she'd just be happy if a professional photographer went over with her some better shots of how to sit, stand, smile and present herself for nice photos. It's all about Facebook - she gets glum when she sees how nice everybody else's Facebook page looks, because the girls all look glam and she, well, doesn't really.
