Every kid's both a big kid and a little kid depending on the kids around her. My daughters are both big for their age, and I consider myself a relaxed parent, but my strong robust 18-month-old still gets bounced around a lot when she tries to hang with the three-year-olds. [ Reply | More ]

154 doesn't even compare to 321. 1150 sf doesn't sound so bad as long as you have 2 br. You can move when the kids really want separate rooms (middle school?) [ Reply | More ]

No way. You would pay the same amount of money to send your kids to a far inferior school and live in a neighborhood that was not as nice? Unless there were significant financial reasons to do so, it makes no sense. Also, Windsor Terrace real estate is not nearly as solid an investment as Park Slope. I do not live in Park Slope but know it is a safer bet than these various gentrifying neighborhoods. [ Reply | More ]

I agree. Windsor Terrace is a solid working class neighborhood. However, it definitely has a very different feel from Park Slope. PS 321 and the real estate around it, whether you love it or hate it, are definitely a way safer bet. [ Reply | More ]

I agree with 5:28 AM. PS 154 is a big step down from 321. If your place is 1150sf, I assume it is a two bedroom (since it is awfully big for a 1br and too small for a 3br). Keep your kids in the same bedroom for a while. That should buy you time until middle school at least:-) [ Reply | More ]
