Hi, I am a massage therapist in baltimore, MD. i have, as you probably have, been in enough massage rooms to know what constitutes having a great session vs one i'll never want to experience again, and all based on the environment. i, too, am hyperventilating :) [ Reply | More ]

i don't know what just happened...i was trying to respond to your post. anywho...i've been in enough massage rooms, as i'm sure you have, to know what makes a great session vs one you never want to go back to. i'm not a decorator, but i do know what makes a great massage room. i, too, am hyperventilating :0 about opening up my own practice. i need COURAGE. but, if you want to talk about what i believe make a great, conducive to relaxation, plus the necessities of having a great massage room, i'd love to hear from you. i just happened upon this website when i was searching for how to start my own massage therapy business. is this a california website? thanks, Susan [ Reply | More ]

honestly, the crazy ranting pre-k posters need to get over it. public pre-k is not something you should be tearing your hair and renting your garments over. it's babysitting for a couple hours a day. talk to me when six years of your kid's life are being dithered over. [ Reply | More ]

believe half of what you ee and none of what you hear (especially on UB). It sound as if you don't have any experience with the prek admissions yourself. If nyc public schools is your first experience with a government institution then you are most likely going to be frustrated at times. What private did you turn down for public? [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] Please advise: I feel soooooo guilty. I am starting a business (from home) and feel like I just don't spend enough time with the kids. I am a very loving, affectionate mom - but I just feel like they see me on the computer so much and they might not feel like my first priority - which they are. My house is also sort of in disarray and my dh and I are intimate next to never. I am trying to start a business that is my dream and I am deeply passionate about it - but what do I do? I feel bad having a nanny (which I do PT), because they want me...but I just feel lost about what to do. They are 2 + 6...please help 2 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Work on the intimacy thing with dh, don't feel guilty about the kids. No shame in a part-time (or a full-time) nanny so you can work, especially to follow your dream. That said, try to make sure you have quality time with your kids. [ Reply | More ]

set certain times of the day that you are working on the business. explain to dcs that the same way dh goes to work, you are also at work. and that they can have your attention when you're done. and make sure you follow through. they have your attention while you aren't working. [ Reply | More ]
