I think (and I wouldn't just rely on me!) that the main thing to worry about is keeping her hydrated. Give her periodic small sips of water if she can keep it down, or go to pharmacy and see if they have some kind of pedialyte equivalent. [ Reply | More

A lot of dc can't keep down plain water when they're nauseous. Find her something carbonated, like seltzer, ginger ale, etc. and give it to her in little sips. The bubbles really help their stomach. [ Reply | More

yes invite the whole class if you have a party and want to invite some classmates. Our preschool has a policy to not leave out any of the kids since kids talk and others will be hurt by it. BTW not once did the entire class come to our party [ Reply | More

I would give yourself a break. New city, new school, etc. She is three. She isn't going to realize she is missing anything. If others in school have a bday party, she may ask about it later in the year and you can tell her "next year" and she can help plan it, have the summer to look forward to it, and will actually know the dc that come.
