from poster below: easy, tell her you feel it is a conflict of interest for her to represent both of you (it's not even legal in many states), and that you feel more comfortable finding a new agent. I'm sure I'll get the same crap about why I don't know anything about 11 and why didn't I tour it, blah, blah... I emailed Donna this morning to ask about this. She said they had been planning to hold registration/orientation this Thursday, but couldn't because some parents still had not rec'd their letters and everyone had until Friday anyway to decide. She said tentative dates are 6/23 or 6/25 and that they would know today or tomorrow when. It sounded like it would be 1 event: registration, orientation & the welcoming thing. [ Reply | More

I also received a prompt, friendly email from Donna Smiley when I emailed to inquire about registration. I don't think they're being insensitive to us or conspiring against us.
