Really worried about my sister. She has an 8 mo who spent a lot of time in the nicu and has continuing medical issues. She has been calling in tears, saying how she just doesn't enjoy being around the baby, can't wait for the weekend so she can give her to DH, guilty about spending less time with her older son, etc... Where is the line between normal reaction to shitty hard situation and a PPD type issue or something that should be addressed with a therapist? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

okay, I'm terrible at stuff like this and will likely sound condescending, but if she gets help it's worth it. [ Reply | More ]
