I would call ped at this point, but in the meantime you can give her cold baths. Try to keep her as cool as possible. There has been some sort of bug going around. My dd had 102 for a few days over 3 days too, last week-end. It eventually went away on it's own. I just kept her as cool as possible, well hydrated (ice pops are good too). I hope she feels better. I live in the city, but have you ever been to a suburb or did you just watch some movie about a CT town? For instance, South Orange/Maplewood has some same-sex parent households and black husbands AND wives; the Princeton area has tons of Asian Indian families; Other towns have a lot of Asian families (Scarsdale); Mamaroneck has Hispanic families. Everyone I know in the better Westchester burbs (except for Hastings which is more hippy dippy) is now sending their kids to private schools for middle school and high school because the say the education stinks in public and worse, the general attitude of the kids is "party on, dude" rather than being with motivated students like you'll find at the good NYC public middle schools and selective high schools. I actually find the city to be far more homogenous than the burbs. Having lived on the UWS, I found that the only people of color I encountered with the exception of a college friend worked on the UWS (often as nannies) and then retreated to the outer boroughs come night. There are tons of of music and art here even for kids, the Mamaroneck School district has one of the best performing arts programs in the country. I'm an Anderson mom with older kids. Looks like there are about 3 in the current K and 0-2 per year in the older grades. The new system definitely encouraged people from farther away to apply--until last year, you had to know about A. and apply to it specifically, but starting last year it was a choice on the form that everyone applying to any G&T filled out. You can't be talking about the incoming class because even the school doesn't know their addresses. You're talking about the current class that's finishing K. [ - ] Any doctors real or armchair who could think up a diagnosis for a man I know: He seems to have one, quite large testicle instead of two. His belly button is an innie, but it's the shallowest innie I've ever seen, just a slight indentation instead of a "hole." I was joking about stealing his kidney and he responded that he's the last one anyone would want as a donor. He's had a vasectomy but has no kids and I sense there may be some sort of genetic issue.
