Have you tried peas? [ - ] my 7.5 month old dd has had a fever all day. acetaminophen helps bring it down, but it doesn't completely go away. we have an appt with the pedi tomorrow because a friend came over this weekend who unknowingly had strep and I think that's what dd has. i put her to bed early (we live in europe) because she's hasn't really slept all day or last night, but she only slept for 10 minutes and then started crying. so, should i let her cry until she falls asleep? she's been crying for about 30 minutes now. i can't just hold her all night - she needs to sleep right???? this is the first time she's ever been sick, so i'm feeling a bit lost. 9 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More

I believe I have heard both of them acknowledge the historic significance of the primary at various points. I guess I just don't see what he is supposed to do beyond that. I wish we could all really move beyond race and gender and ethnicity etc etc and just vote on policy. I understand the feelings of seeing someone like yourself in a position of power, I really do, but at some point, we just do have to move on. I was very tempted to vote for Obama in the primary - and I usually vote republican - just b/c of the historical significance.
