OP - not really sure. My HCG was at 750 and then down to 100s over a few days the last the test was done at the dr's office which was almost 4 wks ago. I had read on here to do a HPT over the next week or two to make sure they dropped down to 0 so I did that and had a few negatives and today I had a + again. [ Reply | More ]

do they know why you miscarried the last time? There are plenty of things that can be done if the miscarriage is b/c of hormones (as opposed to defects). Progesterone works wonders for many women. [ Reply | More ]

op - I already have two dcs and it was my first m/c and happened early so I just am assuming it was chromosomal. I had only seen my family dr when I had the m/c and he is a little bit laid back. I am wondering if because of my advanced age I better get to a specialist a little sooner this time. [ Reply | More ]

I would definitely have them test for progesterone at the very least, since hormones fluctuate with age. If it is due to low progesterone, you will keep miscarrying, so you might as well find out sooner rather than later. [ Reply | More ]
