If he's not fat, why in the world would you even consider limiting his food? In fact, it sounds like you need to add some high calorie foods to his diet. I bought my first pair of materninty jeans at 10 weeks, I still fit in my pants but came across a Gap Maternity and they were on sale, I bought them in a size 4, and they lasted about 6 weeks!
