I have used two great agencies- one is called Abby Nanny. You can reach the owner at CZDLutz@yahoo.com and the other agency I used was Pavillion. Both agencies do a great job. Pavillion is expensive but, they did find me a stellar nanny and she stayed with us for 6 years. My current nanny / housekeeper I found through Abby Nanny which is less priecy, CZDLutz@yahoo.com, and we love her ! You can also try gonannies.com but, I didn't get good matches through them. However, my friend found a great nanny on gonannies. [ Reply | More ]

I can't say, just observe your baby closely, keep track of wet diapers and stay cool. Be cautious. You don't have to stay inside all day long, but if you want to go out, wait until the cool evening, or go out now before midday. Hottest time of the day is probably from 11 am to 5pm. [ Reply | More ]

you can be out a while if you are not in direct sun and occasionally step into an airconditioned store. bring a cold washcloth with ice pack or a spray bottle to spritz him with to keep him cool. and listen to him - if he is cranky, go inside. my older dd neve rminded the heat; my 6mo hates it and is just miserable so i keep her inside as much as possible while still getting older one out, running errands, etc. [ Reply | More ]

People who have a kid like this are just hoping someone out there will understand their kid, and help them be the best they can be given how they are. not everyone who recognizes that their gifted dc might benefit from the type of approach anderson offers is obnoxious. we are hoping this school does well with our dc. we are excited, and feel the fit is right. we are lucky this is a possibility, and do not feel anything but hopeful. not everyone is obnoxious. yes, of course. We are talking about the obnoxious people. You are not one so congratulations. Why did feel like chipping in? [ Reply | More ]

because I have heard people talk about others i know, referring to them as obnoxious, or whatever. I know them not to be that way, and just shrug it off as envy/competition. sometimes people don't want others to be happy. when someone brags or talks in a way that you might find obnoxious, I just think good for them. doesn't bother me at all.
