We have the Inglesina Swift single stroller, and it has held up remarkably well to the beating we have given it over years. We bought it after getting fed up with the mechanical wheel/brake problems with the Techno XT (this was a few yrs ago, hopefully they addressed those issues). [ Reply | More ]

The sooner the better. My 11 mo has no teeth and eats almost anything, has been eating table foods since 6 mos. Gagging is not choking, so don't react badly if there's a bit of it as db gets used to handling new foods. They learn quickly to spit out pieces of food that are too big. Oh, but this is important, let db feed him/herself as much as possible, and wait for the desire / open mouth to put in any food you do feed. Never try to "get" db to eat anything. It will be fine, jump in! [ Reply | More ]

I asked her if she would like to have a party and she said yes. Before that she hadn't even mentioned anything (maybe because we haven't had a party where she invites friends before). We have the space so we've done both and it really just depends on how much you want to be bothered. I've noticed with the at home parties a lot of times both parents will come even if it's only with one child, so that means more mouths to feed. [ Reply | More ]

^^^We've also done a party at the Prospect Park Zoo. Lots of fun and good if you don't really know the parents of dd's friends. They can drop off or hang around the zoo.
