that would be me. and i would still tell my children not to touch things on the subway if possible. I don't think it is wrong to try to teach our children what is clean and what isn't. Do you go around touching everything on the subway? Well, I don't and I think it is good to teach my children why not. [ Reply | More ]

OP: "sitter" to me is someone who comes by occasionally at night so you can go out, not someone who cares for your child every day. If you hired a teenager to come over while you went out to dinner, you'd call them the sitter, not the nanny. [ Reply | More ]

[ - ] DD is 23 mos. The other day I was eating a bag of chips on the couch while she was napping. She woke up and I forgot to put it away. She toddled over to the bag, stuck her hand in it, grabbed a chip and ate it. For some reason it totally cracked me up! It was jalapeno flavored too and she seemed to really like it. 5 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

Shopping around for a mortgage can hurt your credit? Don't quote me, but I think that some banker who doesn't want people to shop came up with that one. [ Reply | More ]

This is true, but, you will soon select a loan, and that will be obvious on your credit report--that you were shopping a mortgage, and then your rate will be fine. It doesn't hurt you to shop around for a mortgage so long as you get one. [ Reply | More ]

It temporarily will, but the banks get those requests around the same time. But if you are continually shopping around, yes it will lower it and banks wont care why [ Reply | More ]
